How it works on Deliveroo

From the machine's stock to a Deliveroo order, automatically.

Deliveroo serves France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium and Italy, plus the UAE and Kuwait. PickVend connects through the Deliveroo Partner Platform: the menu is published per site and brand, item unavailability is replaced on every sync, and orders are accepted automatically in the tablet-less mode — a machine has no tablet.

Deliveroo auto-rejects orders not accepted within seven to ten minutes and may close a site after repeated auto-rejections. Deliveroo also resets "sold out" flags every morning. PickVend accepts within seconds and re-syncs stock after each pickup and on a schedule, so an empty slot never reappears as available.

The rider scans or reads the 4-digit order number shown in the rider app; that number is the unlock code on the machine. Rider status events (assigned, nearby, arrived) are available and used to prepare the pickup.

  • A Deliveroo partner account with Partner Hub admin access (food businesses in the UK need a hygiene rating of 2 or higher)
  • A Site location ID for each machine and a Brand ID — both are set in Partner Hub; PickVend tells you what to enter
  • A machine connected to its cloud
WHAT YOU DO
  1. Partner Hub → Integrations → Connect sites → choose PickVend, tick the site and paste the Site location ID we give you
  2. Select “I'll update my menu through my POS” and choose or create the Brand ID
  3. PickVend publishes the catalogue; you press “Check menu status”, then “Connect your Orders (POS)”. Choose the tablet-less option — a machine has no tablet

€10 per machine per month. €1 per Deliveroo order.

No setup fee, no revenue share, no minimum term. Deliveroo pays you directly under your merchant agreement; PickVend invoices monthly from the order log in your dashboard.
