Delivery Hero runs foodora in the Nordics and Central Europe, foodpanda across Asia, talabat and HungerStation in the Gulf, Yemeksepeti in Türkiye and PedidosYa in Latin America — all on one POS integration middleware. PickVend implements that middleware once, so a vending operator in Stockholm, Singapore or Dubai connects through the same flow.
The machine is published as a vendor catalogue of prepacked, express items; availability is updated as stock changes and the vendor is closed automatically when the machine goes offline. Orders arrive by webhook, are checked against live stock and accepted with a ready time of two minutes — the products are already in the machine.
Delivery Hero platforms issue no separate pickup code: the rider sees the order code in the rider app and enters its last six characters on the machine. PickVend also receives the rider-arrived event and logs the pickup.
