Selfly Cloud portal: prepare your fridge for delivery orders

Use the Selfly Cloud portal to find the cabinet's "if-" code and to create a separate API user for the delivery integration. Then match the fridge's cloud stock to the products you list online. The courier opens the fridge with the order code and the items taken are checked against the order.

Find the "if-" code in the Selfly Cloud portal

Open Device Management → the cabinet → Control Panel → Refill QR Code and copy the code that begins with "if-". The long number next to it is the hardware serial, not the cabinet code; keep it for equipment records but do not use it in the integration. The step-by-step version with screenshots is in our Selfly setup guide.

Save the code with the fridge's trading name and collection address. If several cabinets stand at the same site, keep one record per cabinet. Copy the code from the portal rather than typing it, so hyphens and characters arrive unchanged.

Create an API user for the integration

Do not hand your personal portal login to an integration. Create a dedicated API user instead. Selfly's developer documentation scopes requests to a group: the group defines which data a user can see, and most calls carry the group as a parameter. The user you create must therefore have the group that contains the cabinets you want to connect.

Write down what the account is for and who is responsible for it. Enter it only through the integration's credential screen; never in product sheets, emails or collection instructions. Agree who revokes it if the supplier changes or the integration ends.

Before approving the connection, check that it returns the cabinet code you copied from Refill QR Code. If it returns a different cabinet or nothing, the user's group does not include the intended fridge. Fix that before attaching products to a delivery listing.

Match cloud stock to the exact products you list

Selfly Cloud gives the merchant real-time inventory and purchase data per cabinet (how Selfly's intelligent vending works, Selfly technology). That inventory is the stock source for delivery, so every online item needs a one-to-one match to a product record in the cloud: name, barcode, pack size.

Keep similar products on separate rows. A drink and its sugar-free version are two matches; so are two pack sizes of the same snack. Leave out any product whose cloud record cannot be tied to one specific online item.

Before approving the listing, compare the integration's quantities with the cabinet's inventory in Selfly Cloud and note the time and any unmatched products. Write the pickup instructions with the same product names, and for several neighbouring fridges include the cabinet identifier so each instruction points at the right door.

Connect order-code collection to the items actually taken

In the delivery flow, the courier scans the label on the fridge, enters the order code, the door unlocks, the courier takes the ordered items and closes the door. Selfly identifies items at item level with RFID, which is what makes the record of what left the fridge possible; the integration compares that record with the order.

For a mismatch, keep the order's product list, the recorded items taken, the cabinet code and the collection time together. Compare product identity, not only counts: a matching item count does not settle a case where the courier took a different flavour or pack size.

Before you choose a launch date, confirm platform access for your country. Platform access opens one platform and one country at a time; we say plainly which are live.

Which cabinet identifier should I copy?

The code beginning with "if-" under Device Management → cabinet → Control Panel → Refill QR Code. Keep the adjacent hardware serial in a separate field.

Can I use my own portal account for the integration?

Create a dedicated API user whose group contains the cabinets you connect, so access can be revoked without touching your own login.

Does a valid order code prove the right items were taken?

No. The code opens the door; the item-level record after the door closes is what is compared with the order, including flavour and pack size.
